Alec Monopoly

The Monopoly Standard: Elevating Urban Art to Iconic Status.

Alec Monopoly (born Alec Andon) is a New York City-born street artist and DJ known for his vibrant pop art and anonymous persona—often concealing his face with a hand or medical mask. He rose to fame for reimagining the Monopoly Man character in graffiti-style artworks, originally inspired by stockbroker Bernie Madoff, as a critique of wealth and capitalism.

His mixed-media pieces—featuring stencils, spray paint, epoxies, and newsprint—depict icons from pop culture and have appeared in cities around the world, including Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico, and across Europe and Asia. Alec has exhibited at major art events like Art Basel and collaborated with high-profile brands and celebrities. He is a brand ambassador for TAG Heuer and has partnered with Jacob & Co. to release a $600,000 limited-edition watch featuring his signature imagery.

Monopoly's art is collected by stars such as Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, and Adrien Brody. His work has crossed into pop culture and entertainment, including a red-carpet mural for Justin Bieber’s Believe and a 2024 collaboration with Jake Paul for a Netflix-streamed boxing match against Mike Tyson
