ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

Pino Daeni

Pino Daeni paints tender, luminous moments of warmth and longing—where sunlight, soft edges, and romantic figures converge in a gentle, timeless infusion of love.

Pino Daeni, born Giuseppe D’Angelico in Bari, Italy, carried the glow of the Mediterranean into every canvas. Trained in Italy’s finest art academies, he mastered the figure early on—first rising to fame as a celebrated illustrator whose romantic book covers and film posters became iconic.

After moving to the United States, Pino shifted his focus toward fine art, creating intimate, light-soaked scenes of women and families wrapped in memory, softness, and emotion. His signature brushwork—gentle, expressive, and full of movement—captures fleeting moments of longing and warmth.

Though he passed in 2010, Pino’s legacy lives on in paintings that feel both nostalgic and timeless. His work invites viewers into quiet, heartfelt worlds where light falls tenderly, emotions linger, and beauty feels deeply human.
